Call “bagsy!” on what you love, and your money waits in The Vault until it arrives.
A place to buy and sell, with live shows.
16 and over to buy. 18 and over to sell.
The Vault
Plimble calls where your payment stands the Vault. The provider holds the money, and Plimble's rules say when it may move.
You pay the price you see
The price on a listing is everything you pay for the item. Plimble's buyer fee is already inside it.
The money waits
A licensed payment provider takes your payment and holds it. In the pilot that provider is Stripe.
The parcel has to move
If the carrier hasn't scanned the parcel as dropped off within 5 days of your payment, you get all your money back.
It arrives, and the seller is paid
The seller is paid 48 hours after the carrier scans it as delivered, or as soon as you tap It's arrived, all good. Never before the parcel has moved.
When something goes wrong, the money freezes. Only the decision moves the money again.
What it costs
On a £20 item the fee is £1.50, so you see £21.50.
The fee is 5% of the seller's price plus 50p, rounded to the nearest penny, and never more than £15.
Listing and selling are free.
- Who is selling
A seller passes an ID check, and their stall shows ID checked with the date.
- If something goes wrong
If an item doesn't arrive, or isn't what the listing described, Plimble's dispute process decides, and the money stays frozen until it does. The seller has 3 days to answer. Plimble then decides within 48 hours.
This protection is Plimble's own promise. It isn't insurance.
